A classic of other times, for a dynamic couple, outside the box.<\/p><p><strong>Rental without driver.<\/strong><\/p><p>It is possible to use the &#8220;Courtesy Service&#8221;, which consists of:<br \/>&#8211; Delivery and collection of the car on site.<br \/>&#8211; Our assistance staff for the entire duration of the rental.<br \/>&#8211; Fuel consumption.<br \/>&#8211; The use of a substitute car of the type Sedan (car not closed Spider) in case of adverse weather forecasts.<br \/>Rental Requirements:<br \/>\u00b7 At least 25 years<br \/>\u00b7 5 years of driving license<br \/>\u00b7 Credit card guarantee (pre-authorization) and \/ or check at the discretion of the Charterer.<\/p><p><strong>A bit of history of this car:<\/strong><\/p><p>The Fiat 124 Sport Spider is a 2 + 2 convertible sports car produced by FIAT from 1966 to 1985.<br \/>Presented to the public in November 1966 at the Turin motor show, its production was mainly exported to the United States of America.<br \/>Following the success of the Fiat 124 were prepared the sports versions of the car, the 124 Sport Coup\u00e9 and the 124 Sport Spider. The coupe and the spider were related to the 124 saloon version in the name and through the use of a lot of mechanics and, in the case of the coupe, also the floor.<br \/>The &#8220;Sport Spider&#8221; was built on the shortened chassis of the sedan and was equipped with a twin-shaft 4-cylinder engine of 1438cm\u00b3 powered with a dual-body carburetor, with control of the distribution, avant-garde for the time, with rubber toothed belt, capable of delivering 90 hp at 6500 rpm and giving the car a declared top speed of 170 km \/ h (actual speed from the &#8220;Quattroruote&#8221; road test &#8211; May \/ 67 -: 173 km \/ h). It had a rigid bridge rear axle modified at the points of attack (two pairs of longitudinal struts, in place of the previous &#8220;cross&#8221; pattern, to improve the driving precision) and the standard power brake. A new 5-speed gearbox was also made available as standard. In fact, these two new models replaced the previous sports models &#8220;1500 S&#8221; and &#8220;1600 S&#8221; just taken off production.<\/p><p>The spider was designed and also produced by Pininfarina, the style is the work of Tom Tjaarda. The coupe and the spider were sold for the first time in the United States of America since 1968.<br \/>In 1969, the 124 Spider was the most affordable twin-engine, four-wheel disc brakes, intermittent wipers, steering column lights, radial tires and five-speed manual gearboxes. The car was rear-wheel drive.<br \/>In 1969 the second series was presented (recognizable by the humps on the bonnet), while in 1972 the third series was released on the market.<br \/>The suspensions were of a conventional type: the front axle had independent wheels, with trapezoidal and helical springs, while the rear axle was a rigid axle with longitudinal reaction struts and coil springs. On each axis there is a stabilizer bar and a pair of telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers.<\/p><p>At the end of its career, the 124 Spider was taken off the FIAT list together with the X1\/9 to delegate their production to the respective bodyworks. The 124 Spider was in fact the work of Pininfarina, while the X1\/9 was designed by Bertone, and the last examples produced no longer bore the FIAT logo, but that of the
